After RiRi shared throwback photos from RiRi's halftime show, Goop founder humourously trolling the actor on Instagram.

Ethan Hawke brought back viral photos of Rihanna talking to him at a basketball match -- and his response was hilarious.

The actor shared the famous throwback photos from 2015 that showed Rihanna and him mingling courtside at the NBA All-Star Game, one day after Rihanna's incredible Super Bowl halftime performance.

Hawke was not seated next to Rihanna at the time. Instead, his son Levon Roan Thurman Hawke was there. It was evident from the photos that Hawke had his son swap seats with him at one point, possibly to have the chance to chat to the Grammy winner.

Hawke, 52, shared a few photos from Monday's event and wrote: "After Rihanna’s amazing half-time performance, I hope my son can find the strength in his heart, to forgive a Dad who took his moment."

Fans and celebrities alike took to the comments to respond to Hawke's post. Gwyneth Paltrow was among them, who mocked Hawke for the way he was sitting.

"Could your legs be straightened, please? she quipped. "You're next to Rihanna!"

Other stars also weighed in.

Andy Cohen wrote "BEST PICEVER," while Daveed Diggs stated, "This IS EVERYTHING."

Natasha Lyonne shared the emojis of flame and the emojis of laughing and crying with Carla Gugino.

Alyssa Milano, like Paltrow, called out Hawke’s posture and wrote, "Not sure if I would have gone avec this posture while sitting next to a god."

Hawke's 21-year-old son Levon seems to not be upset that his father "took his moment" with Rihanna, and he praises his dad's post. Levon wrote, "Iconic Content."

Hawke has a daughter, Maya Hawke (24), and a son Levon Hawke (24) with his ex-wife Uma Thuman. Clementine (15, and Indiana (12) are also two of the Academy Award nominees.
