Harrison Ford Says at Age 80 'I Just Want to Work'

"I'm 80 and I'm playing the role of 77. He admits that it's not an easy role to play on "1923".

Harrison Ford won't be slowing down any time soon!

The 80-year old spoke to the New York Times to talk about his commitment to acting in television and film more than 50 years into his career.

Ford stated that he is not planning to retire from the business. He stars in "Yellowstone", a prequel series about "1923" and is scheduled to appear in "Indiana Jones," Marvel's "Captain America: New World Order," and "Thunderbolts," as well as AppleTV+’s "Shrinking."

Ford joked about "1923", his first starring television part, "I'm 80 and I'm playing77." It's a little stretch.

"I have been working back-to-back for a while, which isn't what I usually do. It's hard to believe that this happened. He said that it did happen.

The Star Wars icon said that he was determined to stay in the game. The challenge of making a movie is what I love. I feel at home. It's what my entire life has been about."

Ford said, "I'm here for a movie to sell." Ford said, "I don’t want to reinvent myself. "I just want to work."
