He was a boy band member in his teens, and he is now an actor and solo artist. It's easy to see why the handsome, young Briton is so beloved around the world. He's also gained a surprising fanbase in recent years: women over 40.

This surprising phenomenon was addressed recently in an Vogue magazine article where many women in their 40s shared what Styles means to them. One fan said, "He gives us the whimsical space to express ourselves--something I long for during years of isolation from pandemics."

4. He provides a way to escape from the real world and takes us back to our 20s

Michelle, 44, is a new Styles fan. She says the singer brings her back to her 20s. Styles' Watermelon Sugar, was her introduction. She sang it while she was carpooling with her children.

Michelle says, "Being married and having children, you can get lost in the grind...in other people." "You lose touch with your soul." Harry has been feeding that part of me that was much-rested--and who I am today, I suppose.

5. He has performed with and exalts older female performers

Styles, who writes songs glorifying female worship, has made a connection with female fans since the age of 40. He loves performing with those of the same age. Styles is more attractive to older "Harries", Styles' fans, when he shares the stage with icons such as Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, and Shania Twain.

Styles is known for his habit of dating older women. His current girlfriend is Olivia Wilde (actor/director). She's 38.

Styles fans who discovered Styles later in their lives are now finding Styles online and bonding over the discovery of Styles via text chains and social media groups. Fan Liberty states, "It is my belief that we are bonded forever because of this man."

7. Fandom Provides An Escape

Styles' experience and his music give his 40+ fans a "naughty hobby."

"We all know exactly what we feel and we don't judge each other for it. "We're all in the square laughing together," Cataudella stated about the Harries private Facebook group that she is a member of.
