Here are 11 Celebrity Holiday Specials You Can Stream this Season

Get into the spirit with some support from your favorite celebs!

Celebrities are synonymous with the holiday season. Celebrities have been helping to ring in the holiday season for decades with specials on primetime television. These variety specials have continued to be broadcast on primetime television, despite the fact that they were started by famous actors such as Judy Garland and Dean Martin.

There are many star-studded specials this year. These include a Christmas show hosted by Mariah carey and a country Christmas hosted in part by Gabby Barrett, Carly Pearce, and Carly Pearce. There are also old favorites like Carrie Underwood’s "My Gift", which is available for streaming long after its premiere. It doesn't matter what you watch, it will put you in a festive spirit and get some holiday music stuck in your head.

Here are the celebrities who host their holiday specials...

1. Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey's newest holiday special, "Mariah’s Christmas:The Magic Continues," premiered on Apple TV+ December 3rd. This is her second partnership with the streaming company. This celebration includes festive singalongs and the first performance of "Fall in Love at Christmas", her new holiday song, alongside Khalid and Kirk Franklin.

2. Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson hosted her Christmas special on NBC this season. After the "Christmas in Rockefeller Center", concert and tree-lighting ceremony, "Kelly Clarkson Presents" was broadcast on NBC, "Kelly Clarkson Presents" premiered. Kelly's special features performance of songs from her new album "When christmas comes around ..."" lasts an hour and includes special guests such as Ariana Grande and Amy Poehler, along with special guests Santa Claus and Brett Eldredge.

"Kelly Clarkson Presents - When Christmas Comes Around" aired Dec. 1, at 10 PM, on NBC. It is also available to stream on Hulu.

3. Michael Buble

Michael Buble will host his own Christmas special, Michael Buble's Christmas In the City, to mark the 10th anniversary his chart-topping holiday album, "Christmas."

"Michael Buble’s Christmas in the City" aired December 6 at 10 pm. on NBC, and streaming at NBC.com.

4. "CMA Country Christmas"

Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce will host the annual CMA Country Christmas special. It is jam-packed with country music's brightest stars. The evening will feature performances by Carrie Underwood and Brett Eldredge as well as Lady A.

"CMA Country Christmas" aired Nov. 29 at 8PM on ABC. It is also available to stream on ABC.com.

5. Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are celebrating the holiday season by performing one of Tony’s last performances. "One last time: An evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga" was recorded back in August to celebrate Tony's 95th Birthday. It features 11 radio station show tunes. Although their holiday performance is not specific, their classic songs will get you in the spirit of celebration.

Paramount+ now streams "One last time: An evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga".

6. Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay will be stepping out of his kitchen to prepare for his holiday special "Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Christmas Vacation". As he takes his friends Gino D’Acampo (a chef) and Fred Siriex on a winter adventure to find Santa Claus' home, the renowned restaurateur will be there as well.

"Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Christmas Vacation" aired Dec. 14, 2009 at 9 PM on Fox. It is also available to stream on Hulu.

7. "A Very Boy Band Holiday."

All your favorite boy bands will return just in time to celebrate the holidays. A Very Boy Band Holiday will feature members of multiple boy bands from the 80s, 90s and beyond performing their greatest hits along with holiday classics. Fans can expect to see NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, as well as Lance Bass from New Kids On The Block and Joey McIntyre, among others.

"A Very Boy Band Holiday" aired Dec. 6, 2008 at 8 PM ET on ABC. It is also available to stream on Hulu.

8. "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebrations"

The sixth annual Disney holiday celebration will be back with the return hosts Derek and Julianne Haough. They will be ringing in the holiday festivities at Disneyland, while Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) will take things off at Disney World. Kristin Chenoweth and Darren Criss will perform, as well as Norah Jones, Brett Eldredge and Gwen Stefani. You can also expect plenty of Disney magic!

Hulu now streams "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration".

9. Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood's: "A Christmas Special from Carrie Underwood" premiered in 2020, but it's time to listen again with the re-released album! The musical special includes performances of songs from her album, as well as a stunning full orchestra and choir. You'll even see Carrie's oldest son Isaiah in the special!

10. Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Muskgraves added a unique spin to the holidays with "The Kacey Mulgraves Christmas Show." Kacey performs, but there are also special guests like Troye Sivan and Kendall Jenner, James Corden, James Corden, and the Radio City Rockettes!

11. Bill Murray

Bill Murray's star-studded holiday special, "A Very Murray Christmas," was created by him. This evening of music, mischief and barroom camaraderie features performances by stars like Miley Cyrus and George Clooney.

Netflix has "A Very Murray Christmas" available now.
