Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi celebrate their "forever" love

The internet went wild when the 19-year old "Stranger Things” star announced her engagement to Jon Bon Jovi's 20-year-old son.

Brown posted a picture of her and Brown embracing on the beach while she flashed a yellow diamond ring on her left side ( above left). Brown captioned the black-and-white photo with lyrics from Taylor Swift's "Lover", referring to her engagement.

Bongiovi also shared photos from their engagement shoot on his profile, with the caption "Forever"

Celebrity friends joined the comments to commend the happy couple for their milestone relationship.

Brown's "Stranger Things” co-stars posted their congratulations under her post. Noah Schnapp wrote "OH MY GOOD CONGRATS", while Jamie Campbell Bower left a series red heart emojis. Cara Buono, AKA Mrs. Wheeler, also commented, "Beautiful!" We are so happy for you.

Loni Love, comedian, exclaimed "Congratulations to the beautiful young couple...love for ever."

Matthew Bongiovi, the brother of the 80s rocker, and Jake's uncle gave his approval. "Congratulations!!!!! He wrote, adding a prayer hands emoticon.

Fans took to Twitter following the news of the engagement -- many commented on the decision by "Enola Holmes", star of the show, to marry at such an early age.

"She's 19. "She's 19. One person tweeted that getting married would have been the top of his list.

Another user asked, "What is the fascination with younger generations to get married/engaged so early in their lives?" This is the time to learn, grow and enjoy life without having to worry about the responsibilities of marriage and family.

I believe 19 is too young. You're still learning, growing and getting to know yourself. It would be better to be in your 20s or 25s. This is just my opinion.

Although some people argued that Brown was too young for marriage, Brown's fans were quick to defend her and say Brown is old enough to make her own choices.

"She's 19" and wants to marry so? Why should you care? She can marry whomever and whenever she chooses, it doesn't have to involve you. They are my heroes! one fan declared.

All jokes aside, millie is 19...she's not 15 anymore. jake is 20. it's a perfectly normal partnership," someone defended. "Maybe you're quick to engage, but that's their business...not ours."

After "She's 19", the most popular joke became "Millie Bobby Brown got married and everyone's saying that she's 19, but she thought she was Eleven."
