Warning! Graphic Details Below.
Ehrhardt's dad found her dead body in the laundry, with the name "Wonder", written in blood across her leg. She was also positioned near a butcher blade and cleaver. According to the Kansas City Star she also had a belt around her neck.
He allegedly replied, "Hey kiddo" after his sister tried to contact Wonder to ask where he is. Sorry for the mess. It's much easier than you think. "See you around."
He also sent a message to a friend via Facebook saying "Hey buddy. Sorry for making you the recipient of this but I must share it with someone. I'm going to throw my cellphone out the window and continue north to Fargo. I'm just driving. "I just feel like driving far, far away."
He said that he still felt nothing, and added "I haven't cried." But there's no more anxiety. It's a bonus" -- before claiming that stones were left by Ehrhardt’s body. He reportedly told her, "They did you a lot of good, hun."
Wonder also allegedly said to a friend that he wanted "to get drunk and watch Shawshank Redemption for one last time" before saying "I have no doubt I will be captured today."
"I'm always thinking about her. She never screamed." Wonder also allegedly wrote on Facebook. What a gal. To honor her. "I will not die by gunshot (suicide of a cop), but hopefully by a similar fate to Ashli."
His bond was set to $1 million in cash.
Ehrhardt's mom wrote on Facebook: "My heart has been completely shattered." "She's the beautiful young lady who gave us our loved grandbabies. They are safe and under our care." The journey to lose a child this way will be long.
