Faith can be complicated. It's a good idea to have someone to support you as you embark on a new spiritual path. Candace Cameron Bure, Full House was Danica McKellar's friend in The Wonder Years.

"I was filled with such a feeling of love"

Danica McKellar spoke out about her spiritual journey in a video she made for the Great American Family channel's website. McKellar said, "So, I discovered Christianity this year." "I mean that I discovered it, even though I was familiar with it, it never felt right to me."

She continued to explain how her family was skeptical about organized religion growing up. McKellar said, "Then, this past year, actually, Candace Cameron Bure brought me to church. And I had a completely different experience." It had been simmering for a while... I just know that I felt so full of love. It was overwhelming and it was very emotional.

Bure apparently showed her support by giving McKellar her bible. McKellar points to a bookshelf, where a beautiful golden book rests on top. McKellar pointed out that McKellar's father was a Christian 20 years before she did. "I wasn't raised this way at the time. It was then that I thought, "Oh, that's cool." It's so great that this is working out for you. But, it wasn't part of my life yet. It wasn't in me yet."

McKellar and Bure both Move To Great American Family

Since her fame as a child actress in The Wonder Years, McKellar has had many varied careers. After the show's end in 1993 McKellar graduated Summa cum Laude at UCLA with a mathematics degree. Her books have been published in multiple languages to help kids of all ages learn math.

McKellar is still acting today. She starred in several Hallmark films and then moved to the Great American Family channel. It turns out that Bure also moved from Hallmark to Great American Family. McKellar celebrated the friend's transition to the new network via Instagram.

It is so heartwarming to see McKellar's and Bure's friendship continue all these years, even though they were in the same sitcom circles. This just shows that it is never too late for you to grow and discover new things in your life.
