Katey Sgal is an ace TV veteran. Her career is full of iconic TV characters, from her first role on the sitcom Married...with Children to her most recent role as Dan's wife on The Connors. Since 2004, the actress, 67, has been happily married to producer/writer Kurt Sutter. This is everything you need about Katey Sagal and their unbreakable relationship.

It began as a slow burn

Before she met Kurt Sutter, Sagal had been married twice to Freddie Beckmeier (musician from 1978 to 1981) and Jack White (not the White Stripes singer from 1993 to 2000). Sutter met her shortly after she split with White. Although they instantly fell in love, it was a while before they were able to get together.

Sagal said that he met Sagal through a mutual friend and asked if he would like to have coffee with me sometime. "And then, I was kinda out of touch because he had my little children and was running around with mine. He called me a few months later to ask me for coffee. We went on and almost never parted from each other again.

Sagal and Sutter share many things, including their Hollywood careers. Sutter is an accomplished producer, writer, and director. He created the FX hit series Sons of Anarchy which featured Sagal. In October 2004, the couple got married in private at their Los Felix home.

He jokes about his fame and that of his wife, 57, in an Instagram post dated October 20, 21 after Sagal was hit by a car. Fortunately, she was fine. Sutter wrote, "She's currently the only one making money." "So I'll be taking her to the Dancing With the Stars audition.

They have three children

Sagal had already two children from Jack White's marriage when she met Sutter. She was married to Jackson James in 1996. Sagal says it took some time to get used to Sutter becoming their stepdad in 2004. Sagal said that he told him, "If you ask [Sutter], what would he tell you probably is that when he entered my life, I already have two children and he's their Stepparent, and I was very protective over my children," in an interview with NPR in 2013. He hadn't had that much energy."

Sagal and Sutter were married three years later when they welcomed their first child, Esme Louise, into the world. In January 2007, Esme Louise was born via surrogate.

Sagal stated in 2007 that she had suffered from medical issues following the births of her other children. She was therefore unable to have a child and they were constantly looking for alternative options. "We started the adoption process while we were looking into surrogacy options. We didn't feel attached to either option so we let it happen. It was easy for us to find our surrogacy situation."
