Katharine McPhee will reveal the secrets to her marriage with David Foster

Fox News interviewed the star of "Country Comfort" about their "really simple" relationship over three years.

The actress, 38, revealed that Foster, 73, and she don't go on "extravagant" trips, but instead take a more straightforward route.

McPhee said, "We love going to movies and having dinner together." McPhee said, "There is nothing extravagant about the things we enjoy." We want to be together. He is my favorite person. He doesn't drink, but I will have a glass of wine. We just talk. We make sure that this is our time together.

She said, "We have a very busy schedule so it's really important for us to carve out time each day. There's always something to discuss, whether it's with our family or our son.

After being engaged for almost a year, the couple exchanged vows in June 2019. Rennie was also born to them in February 2021.

McPhee shared that they have low-key date nights and McPhee said that their work relationship helps them to stay connected.

She said, "We have been colleagues for many years before we got into a relationship together." Then, we became close friends. I am very comfortable being on the same stage as him, sharing a stage, and being in the recording room with him. This was the first thing. This is where we feel most at home together. This doesn't cause any friction between us. There is no unknown between us. This is where it all began for us.

They have released their first album, "Christmas Songs", together using their professional chemistry. It will be available on Nov. 25,

Katharine spoke to the publication about her joy at witnessing the 16-time Grammy Award Winner's musical talent in the studio.

She explained that she is always amazed at David's ability to take an idea and turn it into reality. David is a great partner because he understands exactly what he wants and what he needs. As his wife, and also a fan before we got married, I have a lot of respect for him. It's also been great fun. The idea of releasing songs on social media platforms was what we had in mind when we spent the summer together. But it turned out to be so much more.
