Hugh Grant's awkward encounter with Ashley Graham raises eyebrows

The model reported live from the Oscars Red Carpet and had a short interview with "Love Actually" actor, which left many people a bit confused.

Graham asked the Academy Awards veteran what his favorite part was about attending the annual ceremony. The 62-year old took time to find the right answer, before stating that "the whole humanity is here tonight, and it's vanity fair."

He replied "to see" when she asked him what he was most excited about tonight. Graham responded, "I know you've seen a few movies. Are you excited to see anyone win?" Are you optimistic about anyone?

Grant stated, "No one in particular."

The "Notting hill" star answered Swimsuit Illustrated's next question by dryly responding, "my suit."

"Your suit?" Graham quipped, "You didn't make it."

He replied, "I don't recall...my tailor."

Ashley asked Grant later about his experience filming Netflix’s "Glass Onion." Grant replied, "Well, it's barely me in it." It's only three seconds.

"Well, yeah, but you still showed up and had fun right?" Graham pleaded.

Hugh acknowledged that Hugh said "Almost".

Fans saw the actor raise an eyebrow as he left "Bridget Jones's Diary", when he was leaving.

Oscar viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the awkward interview.

One user wrote: "Hugh Grant doesn't want any part in this dumb, s--t."
