"Did he take steroids?" "Did he use steroids?"

Hugh Jackman puts it bluntly...okay, bub?

The actor has categorically denied using steroids to prepare for Wolverine's role in any of his nine appearances as X-Man.

Chris Wallace and Jackman sat down together for the HBO Max series, "Who's Talking To Chris Wallace?" Jackman attributes his remarkable physique to hard work.

Wallace asked how many people have wondered "Did they juice?" after Wallace announced that he would be making his claws out for Deadpool 3. Was he on steroids? He said that he was "so jacked" for the role.

"No. "No.

Then he added "So no, it's not that way, I just do it the old-school way", before sheepishly apologizing for vegans and chickens around the world for the amount of poultry he ate to gain muscle.

In a separate conversation, he humorously recounted how he managed to fit around his height in order to play the famed 5'3" mutant. (They incorrectly say 5'5" in this interview).

Deadpool 3 will be released in late 2024.
