Jax Taylor Details Delayed Flight Incident, Says Sandoval 'Should Have Never Been' at His Wedding

Vanderpump Rules' star said that a problem with his first-class seat was the cause of the delay. He explained that he would not sit in coach, but chose to exit the plane instead.

Jax Taylorsets the record straight about recent headlines regarding his role in the delay of a flight from New York Los Angeles.

A source said Page 6 earlier this week that an incident involving the Vanderpump rules alumni and his seat on a flight to LAX caused a major delay. "The plane was two and a half hours late because it was already on the runway and raining."

Insiders claimed that the delay caused more problems for passengers in general, and specifically international passengers. They noted that 13 international passengers had only "an hour" to get off the plane and to the other terminal, before the doors shut.

The 44-year old reality star, who appeared on the Thursday episode of Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen shared his memory of the events. He claimed that the problem stemmed from a broken chair.

The seat reclined. I was in first class, and sat down. Jax said, "I took a nap just before the flight took off." He added that when he was asked to put his reclined chair back in an upright position, the seat did not go up.

What am I to do?" It's a rule. "The seat [must] be in an upright posture," he added. They said, "You can either sit in coach or turn the plane around." I was like, "I need to take care of my baby, so you'll have to turn back the flight."

Andy confirmed that the flight was turned around as Jax refused coach seating. Jax, who has a 2-year-old child Cruz with his wife Brittany Cartwright, said that he needed to be in the first class to sleep. He couldn't sleep at all in coach.

"I wanted sleep" "I wanted to sleep... It was the only seat available. You are going to put in me the middle seat? He explained and added. Come on, I have to get up and take my child to school. It's been a long trip. "I want to sleep."

Jax claimed that no one but him had to leave the plane.

They just let me go. "I got off the flight," said he. "Very Simple -- You can't get off in a reclining seat... The seat didn't function... Got on another flight. Simple.

Jax also took part in the game "Do You regret It?" during his appearance at the late-night program. Andy asked him to share his regrets about some of his most infamous acts from his time as a cast member on Vanderpump Rules, from his Stassi Schroedertattoos to his time stealing sunglasses from a cast trip in Hawaii.

He was asked at one point if he regretted "demoting Tom Sandoval to a groomsman in 2019 for his wedding to Cartwright. Pump rules fans will recall that Sandoval publicly criticized Jax, Brittany, and their pastor for being reluctant to fire him after he made homophobic comments.

"No, he shouldn't have been at my wedding." Jax should have told Andy about Sandoval's position.

"We've talked. Jax replied, "I'll just leave it there."
