Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she tried IVF to get pregnant, but was unsuccessful. She now wants children.

The 53-year old "Friends" actress spoke out about her struggle with ---" in late 30s and 40s. She put a positive spin on the situation, saying that she would not have been able to become the person she was meant for without hardship and has "such gratitude" for all the s y things she went through.

"I was trying for pregnancy. It was a difficult road for me, the baby making road," she said, adding that "nobody" knew she desired it for herself.

"All those years and years and decades of speculation... It was very difficult. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese Teas, you name, it was hard," she said, being honest about her journey. I was throwing everything at it. If someone had told me to freeze my eggs, I would have given anything. Do yourself a favor. It's impossible to believe. And here I am today. The ship has left port."

Aniston stated that she has no regrets about her journey and added that she feels a sense "relief" because there is nothing more. She doesn't have to "think about that anymore," Aniston said.

The actress addressed tabloid culture that has followed her since her early days as Brad Pitt's star, taking aim at the many headlines about her marriages and divorces over the years and what might have led to her separation from Justin Theroux and Pitt.

She called out the "narrative" that she was selfish and only cared about her career rather than having a family. "God forbid a women is successful and doesn’t have a baby." Then she nailed down one nasty rumor: that her husband had left me because he didn't want a child.

She said that it was complete lies. "I don't have anything else to hide at the moment."

Aniston has, of course spoken out about the attention her body is getting and the public's interest whether she will ever have children. In 2016, she wrote an opinion piece for Huffington Post. She stated, "For the Record, I am not pregnant." "What I am is fed-up."

She said, "The media portrays me in a way that reflects how women see and depict women in general." Before concluding, she stated, "I am not seeking motherhood because it makes me feel insufficient in any way, as celebrity news culture would have us believe."
