The star of "The White Lotus", from the waxed floors and the speed of her teleprompter gives all the reasons why she attempted to quit presenting.

Jennifer Coolidge is a show stealer as always. The "White Lotus" star delighted Twitter with her lengthy explanation about why she didn’t want to present at this year’s Golden Globes.

The American actress was a treasure and she continued to solidify herself as a star. She was hilarious as she lamented all the reasons that she had second-guessed her decision to participate in Tuesday's "80th Golden Globes".

Her first fear was that her skull would be "broken" by the "over-waxed floors." She laughed when it was suggested that she wear Crocs. With my Dolce & Gabriela dress "All those crazy Italians would lose all their minds!"

Coolidge then spoke out about her anxiety at trying to keep up the "ticker tape" thing, which she claimed was a result of an earlier event. Coolidge was relieved to find a producer who held large cue cards for the problem.

Coolidge responded, "The show would have ended before I could locate the guy with that sign." Coolidge then moved to her next fear: name pronunciation. She shared a story about her anxiety trying to introduce Bill Nighy or Kaley Cuoco.

Then, she kind of supported her stories by looking up the name of the category that she was presenting, pausing to tell everyone, "You see? I'm not lying about it s ---!"."
