Jennifer Love Hewitt sets the record straight on her new look.

Some online speculated that she did more than just change her hair. After showing her recent transformation -- , which saw her honey blonde hair shaved off and cut into a brown bob.

Hewitt responded to critics of her new hairstyle on Sunday by posting a series slides in her Instagram Stories. Hewitt responded sarcastically to commenters who accused of her having fillers, a brow lift, and other cosmetic procedures by sharing five photos using the app's various appearance-altering filter.

Hewitt snorted, "So many people told me I looked different," over a photo of her with exaggerated lips and raised eyebrows. She wrote, "I look exactly the same as I always have," over another photo that gave her a cartoonish appearance.

Hewitt added another filter to the photos, changing her eye color.

She said, "I woke this way," over a fourth photo that transformed the 44-year old TV and film star in to an older man. Hewitt said that filters don't really change you, and posted a final photo that gave her an infant face.

Hewitt's sixth message called for a general increase in kindness on social media platforms.

"JK. Let people be unfiltered or filtered. Be kind. Be kind. She added, "Spread love" -- before she addressed the rumors about her surgery.

The actress has confirmed that she only had her eyebrows microbladed.

"Hi. "Hello. I don't do this very often, but lately I've heard a lot of folks say that I had a brow lifting procedure. I don't know what that is. In a video posted to her Stories, Hewitt stated: "I didn't know you could raise your eyebrows like that." She said, "The only thing I've ever done is microblading, with Audrey, whom I love", referring to the microblading expert Audrey Glass.

Hewitt took this opportunity to show off a product that she loves and uses on her eyebrows - a brow lift gel from Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty line.

"I've been using this product, and I notice people are bringing up my eyebrows. Hewitt, who is a Rare Beauty rep, said that she didn't use anything else on her brows today, other than the Brow Harmony Flexible lifting gel.

Selena continued: "I mean... thank you is all I could say. I really like it. I will post it so you can see what it is. This is what people are talking. "That's all I have."

Hewitt has been known to switch up her style, from dark brown hair to blonde or even red. The the Client List alumnus has done it all.
