"There are literally dozens of people who compare me to the worst human beings that have ever defiled the Earth ..." said "Jeopardy!" winner Brian Henegar.

Even for the newly-crowned "Jeopardy!" champions, Twitter can be dark. Recent contestant Brian Henegar discovered.

Henegar posted on Twitter that he was taking a break from Twitter after some comments about his appearance. These comments were likened to a Nazi dictator.

Right now, I feel every emotion and am reliving my Jeopardy! appearance. I can see what a lot of Jerks are doing on Twitter because they can only focus on my looks... So I will be leaving Twitter for a while. See you soon

In recent tweets, Henegar stated that people have been comparing him with Adolf Hitler (aka one of the most evil human beings ever to defile the Earth).

"Right now, I feel every emotion under the sun reliving Jeopardy! appearance. I'm watching what Twitter Jerks are doing, because they can only focus on my looks ..." wrote one contestant. "So, I'm going leave Twitter for a while. See you soon."

One user suggested that Henegar block them. But Henegar replied that there are "literally many" people making these comments.

Henegar wrote, "It's a lot because im already on such a high from winning."

Henegar's Twitter hiatus was short-lived after his fans helped him through the hurtful comments made by other users.

So...I'm back to Twitter, at least for now... I just want to say that these hurtful comments from some very jerky people caused me to lose all faith and belief in humanity. It was restored by all the positive responses. We are grateful to you all, and may God bless you. #Jeopardy

The champion wrote Wednesday, "So...I'm back to Twitter for the moment at least... I wanna tell you that seeing these really hurtful remarks by some very jerky persons made me lose all faith and belief in humanity." "Seeing all your positive responses, restored it, and then more. We are grateful to you all, and God bless you.

Henegar revealed that he has been growing his mustache to a goatee because of the backlash against his looks.

He tweeted, "So I decided to grow my mustache out into a beard rather than shave it off. "I have to admit that I may make myself look like my evil twin in a parallel universe. But that's the only risk I'm willing to take."

The winner of "Jeopardy!" The "Jeopardy!" winner announced that he would donate his winnings to the Anti-Defamation League.

"That's how you can make some good out of your hatred."
