After his two-hour candid interview with Howard Stern, it seems that Ben Affleck is not the only one suffering from a frustrating media twist. Jennifer Lopez is defending Ben Affleck's interview with Howard Stern. She claims that she was not happy about his comments.

Page Six used that word to report that Lopez was frustrated that Lopez "is getting pulled into this because he is dating her." J.Lo stated that the story was false in a People story on Saturday night. This is not what I feel."

Lopez didn't get pissed at Affleck because they have rekindled their romantic relationship. Instead, Lopez stated, "I couldn’t have more respect Ben as a dad, a coparent, and a human being."

Lopez was seen developing a close relationship with Affleck’s children with Garner, 16 year-old Violet, 12-year old Seraphina, and 9-yearold Samuel.

Stern was referring to Affleck's lengthy conversation with Stern. Stern said that Affleck began talking about his alcoholism and that he had fallen into it partly because he felt trapped. Stern's out-of-context quote is from Affleck. This was immediately reported as Affleck blaming Garner for his feelings of being trapped in his family and marriage, and his subsequent drinking.

Stern interviewed Affleck and he said that part of the reason he started drinking was because he was trapped. "I was like, ‘I can’t leave because I have my children, but I’m not happy,' and what I did was to drink a bottle scotch, then fell asleep on the couch. This was not the solution.

He stated that Garner and he tried to make their marriage work but that they also felt that this was not the ideal model for marriage that his children would see.

Affleck was even interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel quickly corrected the record, telling Affleck that he wouldn't want his children to think he was bad-mouthing their mother.

Affleck stated that the media had "literally taken the conversation I had for 2 hours and made it appear as if they were saying the exact opposite of my words." "I went on and said how much we respect one another and care about each other. I also cared about our children and put them first. Then, I went through our stuff.

He continued, "And they said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism, and that I was 'trapped,' and made me out as the worst, most sensitive, stupid awful man," he added.

Garner, for her part, has not publicly commented on the matter. This could be a good thing as it may save Garner from having to correct the record later.
