Ari Aster, "Hereditary," director of A24's latest offering follows Joaquin on an insane and depraved adventure

Ari Aster's "Beau Is Afraid", a film directed by Ari Aster, promises to be one helluva journey.

Joaquin Phoenix is the Academy Award winner. The film looks spectacular as well as an acting masterclass. If Ari's films are any indication, it could be quite terrifying. Check out the trailer!

"Beau Is Afraid", a film by A24, will be in theaters on April 21, 2023. It stars Nathan Lane and Amy Ryan as well as Stephen McKinley Henderson and Zoe Lister Jones.

The synopsis says: "A paranoid, depraved film by Ari Aster is about a man who sets out on an epic journey to return home to his mother."

Aster's films include "Hereditary" (from A24) and "Midsommar".
