HBO's "And Just Like That” team says John Corbett might owe "Sex and The City” fans an apology.

Deadline writers Julie Rottenberg and Michael Patrick King said that they have never promised Aidan Shaw a return in the reboot. Rottenberg responded to questions about Corbett's past statements about his character by saying, "John Corbett should write personal apology notes." We didn't say any."

King agreed that Aidan was never mentioned. We try to be as restrained as possible and see the reality of people's experiences. It has nothing to do Aidan coming or going.

Even if Cattrall had suddenly rescinded her decision to reprise the role, Parker wouldn't be aboard.

She explained that she didn't think she would because she has a public history of sharing her feelings. "I have not participated in or read articles. However, people are inclined to let us know."

She continued, "We didn’t go to Kim because of this, you know." "We have to listen to Kim and hear what she wants. After we don't make the movie, and the studio can't meet her needs, we have to listen to her. It wasn't important or necessary for us.
