"I'm missing getting a text message from him right now."
John Stamos offers an update on his personal journey following the tragic death of Bob Saget, his friend and co-star in "Full House".
On Thursday, the actor at 58 took to Twitter to talk about his grief process.
Mornings can be hard. He tweeted, "The middle of the day comes in waves." "Mostly bad. "Nighttime is difficult."
Stamos said, "I'm missing getting a text from him right away." "Me answering. He said he was too tired to answer. He said he was too tired to respond.
Hotel security found Saget around 4:45 p.m. After a standup show in Jacksonville, Saget was found by hotel security at 4 p.m. ET at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida. Saget's cause-of-death will not be known for several weeks. However, sources in law enforcement told the website that signs point to a stroke or heart attack. Sources said that Saget was also found "tucked in bed", indicating that he died while asleep.
Stamos tweeted his shock at Saget's passing, saying, "I am broken." I am gutted. I am shocked beyond words. I will never have another friend like him. Bobby, I love you so very much."
Stamos, who worked alongside Saget on "Full House", "Fuller House", and "Full House," posted a touching tribute to Saget via Instagram the next day. He said that he was "just not ready" to say goodbye to Saget.
Stamos captioned a photo with Saget and said, "I'm still not ready to accept he's gone -- but I'm certainly not going to say goodbye yet."
The "Big Shot" star said that he was "going to imagine" Saget still doing standup comedy and making people smile.
Stamos wrote, "I'm going imagine him out there still on the road doing what he loves with all of his heart and humor," He's on stage killing! Another two-hour performance in front of some hundred of the most fortunate people on the planet. They laugh so hard they weep.
He said, referring to Saget's wife Kelly Rizzo, "On his way towards the hotel, he called his beautiful, loving wife Kelly," He said he felt 26 again and alive. He then asks her to fix a photo he would like to post. He tells her it doesn't have to be fixed and she tells him how handsome. He tells her that he loves her with all of his heart. He misses his children, his family and his friends when he returns to the hotel to rest his head. He loves us all, God. He goes to bed dreaming about when we'll all be together again, and he smiles. He's still smiling and hearing his laughter from just a few hours ago, which I know deep down."
Stamos said, "I'm not ready to say goodbye yet." Perhaps tomorrow. Maybe."
On Monday, "Full House's core cast -- Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron Bure as well as Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger, and creator Jeff Franklin -- issued a joint statement. It read, "Thirty five years ago, we were a TV family but we have become a family." We grieve together as a family. Bob made us laugh till we wept. Our tears now flow with sadness but also gratitude for the wonderful memories of Bob, our sweet, funny, and kind friend. He was a brother to our guys, a dad to us girls, and a friend for all of us. Bob, we love you dearly."
"We ask in Bobs honour, hug the people that you love." The statement concluded that Bob was the best hugger.
