She says that they had to get him to breathe again, and she opens up about her "scary” experience.

Joss Stone recalls the details of her 30 hour, grueling labor.

The 35-year old "Super Duper Love," singer, spoke out about her "scary" birth experience. She had to have an emergency c-section because her newborn son Shackleton had split her uterus.

"[Shackleton’s] heartbeat was normal. Then, all of a sudden it slowed dramatically. It was my baby, I thought. Stone spoke up, recalling the sequence of events.

Grammy Award winner Stone was already in labor at 30 hours when she was called by a nurse to call an emergency obstetric unit. Stone admitted that she was not prepared for a natural birth despite her best efforts.

She comes up to me, and she says, "The room will be full of people. It's okay. Keep calm. "Then, [partner DaLuz] looked at me and said the exact same thing," she continued.

Stone stated that her birth plan was simply to "birth my child" and told the medical team that if anything went wrong, or if my baby is in danger, they would be going to give birth to my baby. I'm going to give it all to you. This is exactly what I did."

She recalled a group of 15 nurses and doctors in the room, who "talking over" her until her baby's heartbeat was "massively slowed."

Joss stated that he was coming down through the birth canal and his head entered my abdomen. He then went back up. "They had to get him to breathe again."

According to the English singer, she was taken into an operating room. She recalled her surgeon telling her, "OK, we're going back to sleep." Then, she woke up and said, "OK, we're going back to sleep." Everything was fine.

"It was almost like 15 angels flies into my room. They wanted to make me feel at ease. They were professional and friendly and made me feel secure," she stated, thanking her hospital team.

Stone shares Shackleton and Cody DaLuz with their daughter Violet, who is 21 months old.
