In an interview with People, the 55-year-old director said that he doesn’t allow the vulgar scenes on the HBO hit series to get in the way when he watches his daughter's performance of Lexie Howard.

It's amazing. It's my favorite thing. Apatow stated that he is not traumatized by the scripts.

Judd shared his most important piece of advice with his children. "Just do what you love." Do not do work just for the sake of it. Give your heart and soul to the things you love."

With Leslie Mann, the writer-director has two daughters, Maude, 25 and Iris 20, respectively.

Maude spoke out about her internet-generated label of "nepotism child" in a September interview with Net-aPorter

The "Assasination Nation” star said that despite being from a prominent family, she hopes her work will be noticed.

Maude said that she was initially sad. "I don't let it get me down because I know that I'm so lucky. Many people in a similar situation have been successful over the years so I need to keep working hard and continue my education."

She said, "It's too early in my career, so I don't really have much to show, but hopefully one of these days I'll feel really proud of what I've done all by myself."

Maude admitted that her parents' success inspires her to work harder, which in turn fuels her need for perfection and pressure.

She said, "I try to not think about it so much, but that drives me." It drives me to work harder because I feel that I have to prove myself.

The actress shared some words of wisdom that her father gave her when she was navigating Hollywood as a rising star.

She recalled that her dad used to tell me acting was difficult because you don't know what the next step will bring. He encouraged me to write. It's possible to shoot a movie and hope it works, but you don’t know how the editors will edit it. It can be scary to not have control over that, so I try other things.
