Del Toro said that his new film had a few "Oh, sh*t" moments.

Justin Timberlake returns to the big screen as a murder victim who is under investigation by Benicio del Toro.

Netflix has just released the trailer for Reptile, in which Del Toro plays Detective Tom Nichols who is on a mission to solve a murder.

The trailer begins with Del Toro in a closeup, revealing that the case on which he is working is "a nightmare."

Timberlake is Will, boyfriend of victim, an estate agent. Del Toro is investigating four murder suspects, including Will.

In this thriller, Alicia Silverstone plays Nichols's wife Judy who seems to assist her husband in solving the crime. It's their first big-screen collaboration since 1997's Excess Baggage in which Del Toro portrayed Silverstone's kidnapper.

Del Toro revealed to Netflix that he liked the "unpredictability" in the storyline of Reptile. The actor said that there were "a few 'Oh shit!' moments" which compelled him to join the project.

Timberlake said he wanted to see the movie and compared it with a good suspenseful novel.

Timberlake said, "I liked playing a character who has to react constantly to the unpredictable things that are thrown his way."

Reptile premieres on Netflix on October 6th.
