Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson have clearly a lot to discuss on their podcast, "Sibling Revelry."

The siblings had a heated exchange during a promotion for their show on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert". Kate, 42, revealed that Oliver (45), was her mother Goldie's favorite.

Hudson explained to the audience that her older brother "got away" with everything. This was a privilege she never got.

Oliver was the "golden child." Oliver does everything." The "How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days" actress laughed, adding that he was "definitely my favorite."

Kate acknowledged that Oliver is often the one to blame when it comes to pointing fingers. "Mom will say, 'How could you say that?'" "Mom will be like, How can you say that?'," she joked, adding that she didn't get it how he has remained the favorite for so many years.

Oliver added that Hawn made Oliver breakfast every morning during her home renovations.

Stephen Colbert was impressed when the actress from "Cleaning Lady" proudly declared that her mom makes great breakfasts in the morning.

Oliver responded, "Yeah biscuits and gravy."

The actress had to also pick a fight with her older brother, who chose to stay with their mom despite the fact that she had purchased the house where they grew up and the proximity of their location to Wyatt Russell's home.

Kate said, "The irony... [is] that] I live seven streets from my mother." ... The house where we grew up was my home, and I purchased it. Wyatt Russell, our other brother, lives just seven blocks away from me.

She laughed and said, "And Oliver has all sorts of places to be staying with the children -- like, it would be more sensible for Oliver and his spouse and the children to stay with me because then, the cousins can be together but he chose Mommy’s house."

Oliver laughed and replied, "Well you're not making biscuits & gravy in the morning."

The siblings also revealed that they don’t see each other’s work on the big screen in another segment of their interview.

Colbert asked Kate whether she had seen Oliver's new series, "The Cleaning Lady". She replied that she had. "I saw the first episode... I haven’t yet seen the second." So far, I have only seen one episode. The first episode was the one I watched. It's excellent."

Oliver revealed later that they had stopped looking at each other's projects long ago. "I'm going to let her off the hook." We don't see each other's stuff. He confessed that he hasn't seen -- maybe a third of [Kate]'s] movies."

Kate said, "For our families, the novelty kind of worn off." There is so much to do.

Although they were raised by famous parents, their parents provided a normal environment for their children.

Oliver stated, "Look, the impression is, obviously, that we are from famous parents – it's an impression, but it's a fact." It was a normal family within its four walls. They understood this because they were from the same place they came from and they wanted to instill these values.

They shared this value. Kate shared the sentiment. "They both had children from other [relationships] so we became this melting pot family," Kate said. "We will have the best family, not only because they are balancing their careers."
