Keanu Reeves believes you are never too famous for admiration of your idols.

The "Matrix Resurrections” star performed a round of Colbert Questionert, where he revealed only two celebrities that he has ever wanted autographs during an appearance on "The Late Show with Steven Colbert."

The 57-year old revealed that Lou Reed, The Velvet Underground's first celebrity for which he requested a signature, was the first.

He shared, "But it wasn’t for me -- It was for a friend and [Lou] had cool about it." It was on a small piece of paper and was in blue ink. It was great. It said, "Lou Reed." "

Stephen Colbert joked that "it would have been really disappointing" if it didn’t say "Lou Reed", to which Reeves responded, "I know but it could have said, "All my best," or "...

Keanu also approached comedian George Carlin, who he starred with in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" (1989).

"I'm so jealous. Colbert exclaimed, "I'm so jealous." "And that was just for you?"

Reeves said, "Yeah." "He wrote, I believe it was, Dear Keanu. F--- you! "

Keanu said that the actor thought that he had written it for him, but then he met someone who claimed that he had done the same to them. Anyway, beautiful."

Reeves joined Alex Winter, his Bill & Ted costar, to take part in a Zoom chat, to promote the long-awaited third installment of the series, "Bill & Ted Face the Music."

The two of them took the time to talk about their work with Carlin, who died in 2008 at the age 71.

"He brought class... "He brought class...

He continued, "And he brought weight to it -- it's George Carlin coming out of the future." It was truly extraordinary to be able to work alongside such an amazing person and artist.
