Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Mark Consuelos appear to be taking some precautionary steps!

During a appearance on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," 52-year-old morning host joked that she and her husband had "taken a vow to chastity" in preparation for Consuelos' new role as co-host of the daytime talk program.

As they discussed Good Morning America hosts Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes' secret love affair which led to them being cut from the show, Ripa joked that she and Consuelos had stopped having sex since they were working together.

Andy Cohen, host of Andy Cohen, admitted that he felt ABC should have kept Robach & Holmes to make the show more compelling. Ripa agreed with him, but she joked that there wouldn't be any funny business because "I know how ABC doesn't like that, you know TV partners banging the side."

The author of "Livewire: Long-Winded Short Stories", jokingly stated, "So, we promise, there will be no banging on our side."

ABC announced in December that they would remove Holmes and Robach following an extensive investigation into their relationship.

The network issued a statement at the time that stated, "After many productive conversations with Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes, and other options, we all decided it was best for everyone that they leave ABC News." We are grateful for their talents and dedication over the years.

After serving as cohost for four years, Seacrest announced in February that he was leaving "Live with Kelly & Ryan".

Consuelos will take over as Seacrest's permanent replacement. The "Riverdale” star will begin his duties on April 17th, while "American Idol host" Will be gone on April 14.

Ryan posted the following Instagram message: "I'm going miss my work wife, and all the laughter that we share." "I signed up to host Live in 2017, but it was only for three years. I loved Kelly's job so much, that I extended my contract last year. I decided to stay on for the final season.

He said, "I look forward to returning to guest host in future and Kelly, but I also promise to forever share with you my food photos, chicken eggs and olive oil," before concluding that Mark was a "congratulation" and "feel free to remodel my dressing area!"
