McHale tweeted, "Show us this cast you speak of."

Kevin McHale is one of the "Glee” cast members who has begun to weigh in on the Investigation Discovery documentary "The Price of Glee", about their time on the show.

The three-part documentary focuses on the "demands of being on a popular TV series and dark behind the scenes drama," including the premature deaths three "Glee” stars.

After casting materials suggested cast members might not be involved, promoting the involvement of their relatives and friends as well as reporters and crew members, Ashley Ray took to Twitter and assured fans that "yes cast and crew" was indeed involved.

McHale didn't like it immediately and tweeted, "Show us this 'cast,' you speak of." McHale responded to that tweet with a declarative: "This is trash," using an emoji of a trashcan for the last word.

After the series was finished, the cast of the show remained close and gathered to grieve the recent loss of Naya rivera. Cory Monteith, who died in filming, was also lost to the series. Mark Salling, who was due to be sentenced for child pornography possession, committed suicide just before filming wrapped.

McHale responded to his initial tweet, suggesting that he had more to say but is reserving judgment. He wrote, "This was the nice one, ftr [for record]". "Don't force me to speak on it again."

Ray seemed to have heard his words (he did tweet-quote Ray after all). He then replied by tweeting "ok so more cast and crew than cast lmao." She shared a more detailed description of the docuseries.

McHale, along with fellow cast member Jenna Ushkowitz, have been sharing their experiences with the show. They have also been working with the cast on their podcast "And That's what You REALLY Missed."

She said that she was a part of the ID series and it makes her feel even more important. We were the ones who experienced this. We know the truth.

She added, "It feels more important to be the ones sharing our experiences when people are sharing theirs that they don't have."

Chord Overstreet swore out against the documentary and told Elvis Duran and The Morning Show that he thought it was all "bulls ---."".

He said, "I don't think anyone who knows anything about the show or has ever experienced it does have anything to do that... From what I know." "We are all very close and almost like our family, and nobody knows anything about it. It's all about getting people to see something. clickbait."

Becca Tobin, who agreed with Overstreet's sentiment in August, said she had been contacted repeatedly by someone looking to create a series but was confident that no one would be involved.

"It doesn’t matter what happened on this set. It's a family at the end of it all. It's like one big dysfunctional family, and there is a loyalty," she stated on "Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino," per Just Jared.

She continued, "Like mob mentality," where I'm like, it doesn't matter how much I hate this person at work." "There is something in me that runs so deep that I could hate your so much, but it's not enough. "I don't hate you enough to do that."

ID released the first trailer earlier this week for its upcoming docuseries. It focuses heavily on the deaths of three cast members and talks about the show's "curse."

The trailer highlights some of the most shocking details about their deaths. One clip featured Salling in a bodybag, while another showed footage from a press conference that police held after Rivera's body was found in a Southern California lake.

Rivera's dad also appears in the trailer. He says, "I knew that it was the top mountain for Naya." For your kid. It was surreal.

Ryan Murphy's series ended its 2015 run. However, the description of the docuseries claims that it will shed light on what happened behind the scenes with "unbiased filters."

"The Price of Glee," will air on Investigation Discovery on January 16th at 9 p.m.
