Kourtney Kardashian opens up about the inspiration behind her Dolce & Gabbana bridal dress.

The Poosh mogul, aged 43, took to Instagram to share that her mini-wedding dress was inspired by some 1990s campaigns by Monica Bellucci. Helmut Newton shot the Blumarine campaign.

Kardashian posted a series images to Instagram referencing the spring 1993 campaign of the fashion house. Kardashian was wearing a veil and a braless corset, which exposed her breasts.

Although the reality star chose not to walk down the aisle at her Portofino marriage to Travis Barker's, her final wedding gown featured the same thigh-high white lace details.

"My first inspiration for my gown was when Travis and me were watching Guns N Roses November Rain video before we got engaged. We said to one another that this had to be our wedding," Kardashian captioned the photo.

"She was wearing a very short dress, and I thought, 'I need a shorter dress!'" The Lemme founder was able to recall.

Bellucci shared with us that Bellucci also mentioned how the venue of their wedding "also had an impact on the vibes and feel of the gown." "I also wanted the wedding and dress to feel as if we had just gone to Italy.

Kardashian revealed intimate details about the creation of her cathedral-length veil.

"When @dolcegabbana suggested that Travis get Travis's head inked of the Virgin Mary on the handmade veil with the words: family, loyalty and respect underneath, I felt chills and knew how special it felt," she exclaimed.

The "Kim Kardashians" star stated, "This was all planned, and made into my dreams all so so fast, and I'm so thankful to everyone who put in their best to make it all happen!"

Kourtney and Travis made their vows during a ceremony in Portofino (Italy) in May 2022. They legally tied the knot in Santa Barbara that month after a mock ceremony in Las Vegas following the 2022 Grammys in April.
