The actor said, "I won't change because of what anyone else says. This is our family. It's not your concern."

Kristen Bell has increased the amount of non-alcoholic beer she lets her daughters consume.

When speaking to husband Dax shepard via his podcast armchair expert,, the couple discussed their parenting decisions and how they sometimes cause controversy.

Bell revealed, in particular, that she let her children order non-alcoholic beer at restaurants when she was on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The couple has two daughters together, Delta, 7 and Lincoln, 9.

Shepard reacted, "People were very upset."

They're entitled to be upset because it's not their kid. "It's not like you are your child, so you can do whatever you want," said the Good Place actor.

"This is the difference between us. You're at peace, but I'm not." Shepard said that orange juice contains.5% ABV. "Heineken's alcohol content is 0.0... You're giving your children more alcohol if you serve them orange juice.

Bell noted that people will be angry if they want to. He also said that the information was released, and that it has just been taken out of context.

"When they've tried to order NAs in a restaurant, or whatever it is, it's due to a very specific relationship with you. Bell continued, "First of all they're well-informed about addiction and substances and their effects on the body. They know how frightening they can be and what they do."

Bell said that the experience led to her thinking, "I thought this was a cute little story, but it again turned into 'I allowed my kids to drink'." "None seems to make sense, given that you are so open about addiction and sobriety. We're a household that tries to educate others about drugs."

Shepard stated that Bell's parenting choices make him "want a confrontation or debate." I'm going to always feel protective."

I don't care if anyone is upset that I sometimes let my children drink NA beer. I won't change my mind based on what anyone else says, because this is not your family.
