Kim posted a simple request to Kim after Kylie wore Skims for a series photos.

Kim Kardashian is always up for a Skims promotion -- but this might have backfired.

Kylie Jenner shared a series new photos of herself wearing a black sleeveless black dress from her sister's fitwear line on Instagram. Kardashian then took to the comments to make a simple request.

Kylie has 378 million Instagram followers, the most of any of her sisters. The 42-year-old Skims founder asked Kylie, "Can I tag @skims please?"

Kylie quickly responded -- she said, "I stole this from my mom's house, and now you want to me promote ?!!!!." Wow, @skims."

Jenner did tag the company at least this time... but he has not yet edited the original post to tag it.

Jenner, in addition to her Kardashian-designed romper and black knee-high boots, posed in a rolling greenfield for a few photos. Jenner captioned her Jan. 16 posting, "kyventures."

Kim's celebrity friends were quick to comment on her photoshoot to praise it.

Ariel, the makeup artist for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", commented that Malika Haqq had simply shared a plant emoji.

Jenner might not give any credit to her sister, but the "Life of Kylie," star has partnered previously with the brand.

Kim asked Kylie and Kendall Jenner for help to photograph a Valentine's Day campaign in 2021.

They set the internet ablaze with their matching red bras, panties and matching pants.
