Lili Reinhart speaks out about her struggle with her body image.
The actress shared a series on Thursday of messages on Instagram Stories where she was "vulnerable" to her Instagram followers about recent "obsessive thought" bout her weight and body.
Reinhart, 25, stated that she has been having obsessive thoughts and body/weight concerns for the past few months. She is now experiencing severe symptoms. "So, I wanted to share my struggles with you in the hope that others who are struggling may not feel so alone.
She continued, "I'm here for you." It's difficult to see your body with love and not criticism. This is a skill I am still learning.
The Riverdale star said that being in the industry that is so obsessed about women's bodies and their weights could never compromise my body acceptance and positivity. But it has." She said, "I wish that I didn't grow up in a culture where only one size was acceptable for women."
Reinhart acknowledged that she wishes she could love her body more and said that she is "trying" to.
She wrote, "My body has carried my through 25 years of living." "All my traumas, tears, and scars... It's hard to love it as much as I do now, but it was so much more than it was when I was 20. I am trying. My body deserves the same love and admiration, regardless of its size.
She added, "To feel out of place in my skin is a terrible feeling." "As though my body has abandoned me."
The actress from "Hustlers," shared that she has "looked in the mirror" and "pulled my skin back to determine what *should* look like. In an industry where there is no sample size, this is what I expect to look like.
It's hard to believe that hundreds of millions of people are so concerned about how our bodies look. She explained that it's an extremely broken system and added, "Somewhere along this line, humanity really screwed up this one."
Reinhart concluded her remarks by pointing out that she is aware that she's not the only one thinking this way about her body.
She wrote, "It's heartbreaking to know that this feeling is understood so many of us." Let's talk about it. It is important to accept it. Show compassion and kindness to others. Show compassion and kindness.

Give yourself time to rest, prioritize your needs when necessary. You should surround yourself with positive people and high vibrations.
Reinhart concluded her post by reminding her followers that they are always worth fighting to achieve their goals. Tomorrow could be such an amazing day.
