Lisa Rinna left 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' which she joined in 2014, last year after a controversial season 12.

The official email of Lisa Rinna , who resigned from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been released.

In a preview video shared ahead of Season 13's premiere next week by Bravo, Rinna sent an email to Bravo's parent, NBCUniversal. Cast member Erika Jane then discussed the show's upcoming season without her friend and ally.

Erika is apprehensive when she arrives at a retreat organized by her castmate Dorit, after a turbulent year for the group.

"I am going in like I'm on my own little island." Erika confesses in a confessional that her friend has left the reality show.

The screen then flashes Rinna’s resignation email. The letter, dated September 10, 2022, reads: "I won't be renewing contract and I won't be returning to RHOBH. Thanks for the 8 years !!!! "All the best Lisa"

Rinna announced her departure from the series in January after eight seasons. Many speculated at the time she had been fired because of the heated feud she had with Kathy Hilton during season 12.

In his new book The Daddy Diaries - The Year I Grew up by Bravo executive Andy Cohen he discussed Rinna’s resignation in May,. He claimed Rinna “immediately regretted” her decision.

The Watch what Happens Live presenter recommended Rinna to "go on pause, but definitely come back."

He wrote: "Feel like she has toxic relationship with the program at this point." "and taking a deep breath could be good for everyone."

Cohen said in the epilogue of the book, "We both agreed that Rinna should take a pause from the show."

Rinna's rep responded to Cohen and said that she was "more than willing" to leave the show. She "doesn't regret it."

E told the rep that there was never a discussion about this concept.. Her contract expired, and both parties agreed to not sign a new agreement. She thought her time in the show was over and was happy to move forward. She still doesn't regret it."

Rinna explained later that she made her decision to leave after receiving death threats in the aftermath of the "volatile season".

She told ES Magazine of The Evening Standard earlier this year, "I didn't wish to live that way." "I don’t think that is healthy."

Rinna said, "We were receiving death threats." It's the worst things I've seen printed in my entire life. And it's on a reality TV show! It's a dumb show!"

She revealed in the same interview that her late mother, Lois, died in 2021 aged 93. This played a part in her decision to leave the reality show.

Rinna recalled a dream of her mother. "It is so strange because the half of the world won't believe it, the other half will think, 'That is so bizarre,'" she said. "I heard her tell me to leave while I was asleep."

Rinna was a part of the series from Season 5 to Season 12 in 2022. Although she is no longer part of the series, her departure appears to be a major topic when the show returns the following week.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 will premiere on October 25, at 8 pm ET. Bravo will broadcast the episodes at 8 p.m. ET. Peacock will also stream episodes the next day.
