McConaughey revealed that he's still not tired of saying "alright, okay, okay" after all these many years.

After months of absence (due to the WGA Strike having finally ended), Jimmy Fallonis now back on air. He kicked off the show with Matthew McConaughey, who talked -- and rapped -- about the actor’s latest project.

McConaughey and Fallon sat with Fallon in order to promote McConaughey's new children's novel, Just Because. The book has just hit #1 on the NYT Bestseller list. If you're curious about the story, they give you a preview in the form a rap.

McConaughey revealed that the idea for his book came to him in a nightmare.

"I never thought about it. "This came to me one night in a little ditty, and at 2:30 I woke up with this little hook, you'll know," said actor 53. "Just because someone threw a dart doesn't mean it's stuck. "Just because I have skills doesn't mean that there isn't luck."

"I woke up, and I had a great dream. And as you do when you have a great dream and don't wish it to end, you keep the rhythm, right?" He continued.

"I get up, and write down all of this stuff." I wrote about 200 couplets. 30 of them made it into the version you see here, because this is for a younger audience.

"And I went back and found the 30. I thought, "Hey, this is what my kids are going through." These are some of the things that my children's friends tell me they're experiencing. It's something I hear my friends' parents say, "My kids are going though this." "So, this is what's included in the book."

McConaughey revealed that even after years of saying "alright, okay, okay," he still hasn't gotten tired of it.

People ask me constantly, "Do you ever get tired of it?" "No, those were the first words I ever spoke on film 32 year ago, and they precede me."

I thought it would be a hobby for one night, but it has turned into a profession. Please say it!"
