"My goal was to be here longer. It's really strange."

Mel C feels "gutted" that she was eliminated from "Dancing With The Stars", Monday's episode.

After performing the foxtrot at "Grease," the former Spice Girl and Gleb Savchenko were close to being voted off. Despite being the two strongest dancers in the season, she and Olivia Jade ended up at the bottom.

In an Instagram video, the singer shared her shock and disbelief at her expulsion.

"I've just had my vote. She said it still wearing her "Grease” outfit. "I feel a bit shock because you always have to think about next week, picking yourself up, and starting a new song.

"My goal was to be here longer," he said. The 47-year old admitted that it feels strange. "I want to thank everyone who supported me. I have been struggling with myself and believe that everything happens for a reason.

She said, "This show, while it's wonderful, is really difficult." I have so much respect and admiration for all who do it. The good news is that I can continue to release new music.

DWTS 5th Judge - Fantastic Grease Night Soured By Outrageously Wrong Elimination

Sporty Spice was disappointed in the caption but she expressed gratitude to her "DWTS” partner Savchenko.

She wrote, "I am devastated to have been eliminated tonight, but it's one thing and it wasn't meant be." "It's been an incredible experience and I've met some wonderful people, the foremost being my fantastic partner and teacher @glebsavchenkoofficial."

Mel C ended her caption and her time with "DWTS" by saying, "I would like so many people to thank them for the support I've received, the amazing production and crew, but most importantly, my amazing fans who were there all the way."

Mel C and Savchenko channeled Olivia Newton John or John Travolta to perform a dance set of "You're the One that I Want".

Although the first three judges voted to save Spice Girl by two to one, Len Goodman, the head judge and holder of twice the weight, opted to save Jade.

Mel is Mel's second appearance on the competitive dance show. Mel B was the runner-up back in 2007.
