The race tweeted a video of Michael Fassbender's crash.

Michael Fassbender has been ruled out of the Le Mans 24 hour race in France.

On Sunday, the actor crashed his Porsche 911 during his second appearance at this iconic race.

It ended the team's chances of continuing the race, even though he was uninjured. Fassbender managed to return the car to the pit after slamming it into a barricade in the Porsche Curves area of the track. The damage was too severe to continue, and the car was retired.

He raced as part of Germany’s Proton Competition Team. According to reports, he had only 15 minutes left in his six-hour time slot.

Proton Competition Tweeted: "We're gutted!" Car #911 will no longer be running in the Le Mans 24-hour race .... Fassbender lost the control of the vehicle and crashed into the barrier without any chance to repair the damage. Le Mans [was] not kind to us in this race."
