Michael Strahan is among many who have taken to social media to grieve the passing of Stephen "tWitch” Boss. He was a choreographer, dancer and actor best known for his role on The Ellen DeGeneres show.
Fans and Friends Remember DJ tWitch
Boss's wife called Los Angeles Police Department on December 13 to report that he had fled their home and not taken his car. Later, police received a call regarding reported gunshots at Oak Tree Inn in Encino. Boss was later found dead there. Boss' suicide was ruled self-inflicted by a gunshot wound. Boss was forty years old.
People from all walks of the globe are sharing their grief via social media. They also remember Boss for his many talents as an actor, dancer, and DJ. Strahan shared an emotional message in memory of Boss.
"Your Legacy Will Always be Remembered"
He wrote, "RIP to Twitch," It's unbelievable. You were a true brotha, from the magic Mike and Ellen sets to the text messages to support one another and check in, you were always there for each other. Your memory will be cherished. Your legacy will be remembered forever. My condolences and love to Allison and his family.
Soon, the comment section was filled with people who missed Boss. Terry Crews, actor, wrote that he was "heartbroken" and one fan said, "I still cannot believe this." It is impossible to know the extent of a person's suffering. We pray for him and all those suffering silently.
Boss's Wife Calls him 'The Backbone of Their Family'
Boss's wife, Allison Holker Bosss, a fellow dancer, issued a statement to confirm his death. She wrote, "It is with my deepest sorrow that I must share the news that Stephen has passed away." Every room Stephen entered was lit by his light. He was a person who valued his family, friends, and community more than anything else. He loved to lead with light and love. He was our backbone, the best father and husband, and an inspiration for his fans."
She continued her statement by saying, "To say that he left an inheritance would be an understatement. His positive impact will continue being felt." I am sure there won't ever be a day when we don't remember his memory. We request privacy during this difficult period for myself and our three children." Stephen Boss's family, friends and fans are mourning his passing and remembering his legacy of dancer and artist while they celebrate his life.
