Miley Cyrus Reflects on 'Wildly Different' Relationship to Fame from Dad Billy Ray Cyrus

Cyrus said, "I was financially and emotionally stable as a child. My father wasn't like that."

Miley CYRUS opens up about her personal life in her new TikTok video series titled "Used To Be Young" after her latest single, which was released last week.

Miley Cyrus opened up in a video about her different relationship to fame than her father Billy Ray Cyrus.

When I was born, Miley's dad played the country song No. 1 when he was a child. Miley, 30, said: "When I was born, my dad had the No. 1 country song." "I see numbers and the people behind them enjoying the music. I don't see numbers. I only see the human beings." "A number does not change who I am."

She said that their upbringings had a profound impact on their views of fame and success. Miley was referring to Billy Ray's breakthrough hit "Achy Broken Heart."

"My father grew up opposite to me. "I grew up in a house where my family was very close, all living under the same roof. I grew financially and emotionally stable. That's what my dad did not have," said Cyrus.

She added, "I think my relationship with fame and success and that of my father is very different." "His feeling loved by an audience of many people affected him more emotionally than I could ever be." It's healing to him when he feels important or special. I was always made to feel like an actor.

Miley revealed that, despite their rocky relationship at the moment she still has fond memories from learning music with her father.

She said, "I have many great memories of singing with my father and learning from his voice and how he uses the instrument." "I feel that my dad's vocal abilities were underappreciated."

She also spoke out about her decision not to tour anymore.

"The show lasts only 90 minutes but it's all you have." "If you are performing at an intense level, then there should also be a rest and recovery period," Cyrus said. There's an ego factor that is overused on tour. Once that switch is turned on, it can be hard to turn off.

"It erases both my humanity and connection, and without (my) humanity and connection, I cannot be a writer which is what my priority is," said Miley.
