The star, who was promoting a collaboration with Andie swim, told People, "I feel really confident about my body right now, which I haven't been able to do for the last few years."

Mindy Kaling opens up about her new swimwear collection with Andie and her healthy lifestyle.

In an interview with People magazine, the actress and writer, as well as producer, also discussed her feelings about the comments she receives frequently regarding her appearance after her weight loss transformation.

When asked by People if she pays attention to the "chatter" surrounding her appearance, Kaling said: "I think it's flattering, but sometimes it can be a bit much. So I try to not tune in."

She added, "I spend so much energy and time trying to stay healthy." "I run, hike or lift weights 20 miles per week. This is a huge commitment for me. "I basically live in exercise clothes so that I can get in."

The "The Mindy Project' alum, who is mom to Katherine, 5, Spencer, 2, opened up about her partnership with Andie swim, revealing that the swimwear makes her feel "young, carefree," and that other women, including moms, can also feel good.

Kaling said, "It's just not the case that you stop caring about looking cute and sexy when you become a mother and want to only wear a modest navy swimsuit." "I don't have to wear a skirted swimsuit." These pieces make my feel youthful and carefree. They're not too revealing and give me support where needed. The colors are beautiful.
