Minnie Mouse trades in her red and white dots to be a little more stylish!

Disneyland Paris announced Tuesday 25 January that the mouse would get a wardrobe makeover in time for its 30th anniversary celebrations.

British designer Stella McCartney designed the new outfit. Minnie will be wearing a dark blue pantsuit and black stripes with polka dots. Her signature bow will be the same color scheme as the tuxedo's overall design.

McCartney stated that he was thrilled to work with "the one, the only, and the iconic Minnie Mouse." "Minnie always held a special place within my heart. Our values are the same. Minnie is a wonderful example of happiness, self-expression and authenticity. She inspires people from all walks of life. She has a great sense of style!

Additionally, Minnie's blue tuxedo was made from responsibly sourced fabrics. The designer explained her decision to wear the famous mouse wear pants for first time.

McCartney said that "This new version of her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse an emblem of progress for a young generation." She also stated that the mouse will be honoring Women's History Month and the park's 30th anniversary. It will be worn by her in celebration of Women's History Month in March 2022. "I can't wait to show you this new Walt Disney Studios Park look!"

Mickey Mouse will also be wearing a new look at the celebration. He will wear a reflective purple jacket and a holographic shirt, as well as Minnie.
