These are the wildest Fantasy Sweet moments from Bachelor Nation, including breakups, hookups and quitting on the spot.
"The Bachelor" is full of drama, and it's certain that there will be plenty of shocking moments when it comes to the Fantasy Suites.
The final weeks of each season have been a rollercoaster ride over the 20-year history of the show. It can be a turning point in a relationship when it comes time for the overnight dates. There are highs and lows, lots of tears, and intimate moments.
Here's what happened in the Fantasy Suites...
1. Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar
Zach Shallcross, the Bachelor's most recent season, decided not to have a night with any of the final three women during Fantasy Suite week. His plan to keep things simple ended up being disastrous. The couple went all the way during Zach's night with Gabi Elnicki. This was a decision Zach felt really guilty about. He decided to share the details with Kaity Biggar when it was time to go on their date. Kaity felt extremely hurt and told Zach she would rather not know.
"I'm crushed. "I'm crushed. It's not your fault that you did it. Are you sorry that I feel this way? Kaity confessed that she was not feeling well and later admitted that she wanted to go home.
Although Zach and Kaity were eventually able to reconcile, it is clear that it caused tension for Gabi and Kaity.
2. Colton Underwood & Cassie Randolph
Colton Underwood's date with Cassie Randolph in Fantasy Suite turned out to be one of the most memorable moments from "Bachelor" history. Cassie was hesitant about her relationship and revealed that she wasn’t sure if they would be ready to get married by the end. Cassie decided to leave after a hard discussion.
Colton was not happy about the decision. He had previously told Cassie that he would choose her as his last choice. Colton abruptly left the show in an emotional state by taking off his mic and jumping over a fence to shock Chris Harrison, then-host.
3. Gabby Windey & Erich Schwer
Gabby Windey only had an overnight date with one man during her season on "The Bachelorette". Jason Alabaster, who was also concerned about Johnny DePhillipo's decision to leave the show because he wasn’t ready to propose to Gabby, shared similar concerns. Gabby was upset by his confession, but they agreed that they could have deeper conversations in the Fantasy Suite without having to be filmed. The night was not a success and the couple had to end it there.
Gabby ended up going to the Fantasy Suite with Erich Schwer. But even that date night, it didn't go as well. Erich said to Gabby during their overnight stay that he would feel "cheated" if Gabby slept with other men. Although Erich claimed that he was expressing insecurity, the comment ended up creating a lot more drama. Gabby felt pressured and thought about how she could move forward with the relationship. This led to some very heated conversations. The couple were eventually able to come to terms with their differences, although there were some very dramatic moments.
4. Clayton Echard & Susie Evans
Clayton Echard was last Fantasy Suite date of the season with Susie Evans. It didn't go well. Susie Evans asked Clayton straight up if he had ever slept with any of the women. He replied that it was impossible to get engaged if he did. Clayton was shocked by Susie's comments, and was actually upset that Susie would expect him not to give it a try with the other women. He eventually admitted that he had slept with both Susie and the other women, although he still loved Susie. Clayton's admission that he preferred Susie to any of the women he slept with shocked many viewers.
Susie finally got up and walked off. Clayton then called Susie out for failing to tell him beforehand. Clayton was furious at Susie's insistence on apologizing, and said that he didn’t feel like he knew her anymore. Clayton sent Susie home before the night was done.
5. Luke Parker & Hannah Brown
Things weren't looking good when Hannah Brown took Luke Parker to Fantasy Suite during "The Bachelorette". After they sat down for dinner, the two had a very dramatic conversation. Luke explained to Hannah that he wanted her to be free from any sexual relationships with other men, and that if she did, he would like to take her home. Hannah informed him that he did not have the right to judge Hannah and that she didn't like the way he spoke to her, especially as he wasn’t her husband yet. She pointed out that she had seen through many of his red flags, and was upset that he could not move on from this situation.
Luke was furious when Hannah told him that it was time for Hannah to go home. Hannah walked Luke to the limousine and, when Luke refused, she delivered one of the greatest lines in "Bachelor' history.
Hannah confessed, saying, "I have had sexual encounters and Jesus still loves" before adding, "I didn’t just go to Fantasy Suites. I was f--ked by a windmill. Guess what? It was a second attempt.
6. Rachel Lindsay & Peter Kraus
Peter Kraus and Rachel Lindsay had one of the most painful breakups during the 19-season run of "The Bachelorette." It began during their Fantasy Suite date, when Peter admitted that he had told Rachel his mother that he wasn’t ready to marry her daughter.
During dinner, they continued to talk and realized that they had different ideas about what being engaged meant. Rachel wanted to be engaged but she wasn't sure it meant they had to marry immediately. They could still get to know each others after the show. Peter, on the other hand, felt that he wanted to get married once and was happy to do so.
Although they decided to continue their date following their emotional discussion, it was the beginning for the couple. The couple decided to end their night together after a heated discussion.
7. Juan Pablo Galavis & Andi Dorfman
Juan Pablo Galavis and Andi Dorfman were on a Fantasy Suite date. Something went horribly wrong. Although Andi has not revealed the details of what happened overnight, she claims that she saw a Juan Pablo side that she didn’t like when the cameras stopped rolling. Andi called him the next morning and said that she had realized that she wasn't in love with him. She also mentioned that he was often too honest and that she didn't want to get to know him. He even made a joke about her being there "by accident," she said. Juan Pabo replied, "It's okay," and stated that he didn’t know what she wanted. Andi ended up walking away.
8. Ben Flajnik & Courtney Robertson
Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik had one of the most wild nights in Fantasy Suites' history. Ben and Courtney were already skinny-dipping when they met, before they reached the overnight date segment. Courtney was open to telling everyone about their relationship after they spent time together, without cameras rolling. Courtney wrote in her book that although she couldn't find condoms in the room, the couple had sex three more times.
"We immediately tore each other's clothes and had intense, passionate sexual sex on the couch by the fire. Courtney stated that producers had left a phone number for us in the event of an emergency but did not give us condoms.
Courtney clarified later that she was told that there is usually plenty of protection in Fantasy Suites and she believes she might have missed it.
9. Emily Maynard
Emily Maynard, a Bachelorette, is the only one to abstain from any of her Fantasy Suite dates. Emily stated that she wanted to be a role model for her daughter and wouldn't allow any men to sleep over when it was time to go on overnight dates. Although her decision wasn't the usual for Bachelor couples, Sean Lowe stated that it was not what actually happened. He revealed in his book that Emily invited him to visit after filming was finished so they could get to understand each other better.
She said, "Listen, she's only going to do it with you. It will look like we're wrapping up the date. But then, we'll go to the fantasy suite so we can just hang out. We did exactly that. We spent four hours together without cameras. It was the same week that she sent me home, of course. "And I discovered she did it with other guys," Sean revealed to Dish Nation in an interview.
10. Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski
Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski didn't have the Fantasy Suite date they hoped for. Despite their chemistry throughout the season, there was trouble in the bedroom during the overnight date. Jillian shared her feelings about the lack of romance with Ed, and Ed admitted that he was having performance problems when they had their alone time.
"I was nervous, and it just didn’t happen. I could not show her that I truly love her. Ed suggested that Jill might have given the wrong impression.
