Naomi Watts responds to rumors that Billy Crudup is her fiance.

On Thursday's TODAY episode, the actress wore a diamond ring around her left hand. She made a funny comment when Hoda KOTB and Savannah Guthrie asked about her possible engagement. She did not confirm or deny her engagement.

My eye hurts. "Do you see anything?" Kotb asked. Guthrie, Watts, and Kotb all leaned in. Kotb then noted that "there's a bright glint from this ring." I can't look away!

Watts laughed and Kotb said, "It's just beautiful."

Guthrie wasn't hesitant to tell Watts that "Hoda wants to know if you are engaged."

Watts did not answer the question. Instead, he played coy before laughing, "Oh the brain fog!"

Kotb told the audience, "Whatever your outfit is, you look great."

People reported that Watts wore the sparkler on Thursday while walking her dog in New York City. The "King Kong' star has been wearing the diamond for some time, but it is unclear when she started. She was seen wearing the ring last month at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Watts and Crudup have been together for the past year after they met on the set of Netflix's "Gypsy."

The couple appeared together for the first time on the red carpet at 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The couple stepped out on the red carpet together a few months later at the Emmy Awards in 2022.

Watts and Crudup keep their romance private. However, Watts shared a picture of her and Crudup on Valentine's Day in February. She captioned her selfie "My darling" below.

Watts had been in a relationship from 2005 until 2016 with Liev Shreiber. Sasha (15) and Kai (14), the two sons, together.

Crudups also had relationships in the past with Mary-Louise Parker, and Claire Danes.
