The Queen Charlotte story will be explored in a prequel series called "Bridgerton". We also have the first official glimpse at India Amarteifio, the young royal.

Netflix shared a glimpse from Friday's Tudum celebrations on Friday. "Bridgerton" stars Golda Rossheuvel (Queen Charlotte) and AdjoaAndoh (Lady Danbury) opened up about India's portrayal Charlotte during her early years on the throne.

Rosheuvel says in the clip, "We have this wonderful type of tag team where we high-five each other and the torch is passed on which I think is an amazing metaphor for the older or younger." It's cool. I love it.

Andoh addresses Golda, saying, "Can I just say as compliment to you both that there is something so special and fabulous about your whiplash. Heartfelt, witty. sharp Queen Charlotte." "India has taken all that and made it hers and has run with it. India is Golda to me. It's beautiful to see Charlotte grow up.

The two of them then released the first photo of India, all dressed up in a white gown, crown and cloak.

Netflix says the series will be centered around Queen Charlotte's rise in power and prominence. It "tells the story about how Queen Charlotte's marriage to King George sparked both an amazing love story and a social shift that created the world of the Ton, inherited by the characters of 'Bridgerton'."

Tudum, a virtual fan event for the streamer, will feature mini panels about some of its most popular shows and upcoming movies. All day, there will be trailers and new footage as well as conversations with streamer stars.
