Nick Cannon Celebrates Red Table Talk Cancelation, Calls Show 'Toxic Table'

The Wild N' Out alumnus said that if there had not been a Red Table Talk, he would have never slapped Chris Rock.

Nick Cannon is happy that Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” has ended... at least for the moment.

The 42-year old host opened up about Will Smith and his various appearances over the years during a segment on his new radio show The Daily Cannon.

Meta announced on Thursday that they will be closing down Facebook Watch and canceling the popular show. Cannon hailed the news as "good" before saying that the public discussion about Jada and Will’s marriage on RTT was what led to "King Richard's" infamous outburst during the 2022 Academy Awards.

The "Wild N' Out' alumnus said that if there hadn't been Red Table Talk, Rock wouldn't' have "slapped him out" when he made a joke during the ceremony about Jada's hairless head.

Cannon called the series "toxic table" even though Nick's cohosts Courtney Bee Bledsoe, and Abby De La Rosa expressed their love for the show.

Will and Jada, that was royalty. He said that Smith's frequent shows on the show "brought it to the table". "I don’t want to hear all this s--- you're saying about each other."

In 2020, the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air' star gave a notable sit-down interview. The couple talked about private details of their marriage, and Pinkett Smith's "entanglement" romantically with August Alsina, a friend of Jaden Smith. Although the two claimed to be separated, the interview went viral online.

Cannon said, "They didn't have to make all those memes about Will. They didn't have to do that." "I want to keep my Black-owned businesses in order. I don't like to get up in other people's kitchens. "Keep that s--- all to yourselves."

"F--- this table", he exclaimed as well.

Three generations of Smiths -- Jada, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield Norris -- cohosted Jada’s show as they discussed hot issues around the table. The show announced that they were "in discussions of finding a home" after the Meta announcement and promised fans to "see you soon."
