Kody, Janelle and Meri admit that their polygamist families are in a terrible mess. Christine, Robyn, Janelle and Christine also speak about the major fractures within their family.

The polygamist family of Kody Brown continues to fall apart with every new episode of sister Wives .

Sunday's new episode picked up after last week's huge fight between Kody, his wife Janelle and their children over Kody's relationship with them.

Tensions erupted between the entire family after Kody imposed restrictions during Covid's lockdown. He felt that some of his kids, especially his sons and Janelle, were not following his orders, prioritizing safety over their social lives. They, on the other hand, believed he put his wife Robyn's family ahead of everyone else.

"I may not have been correct, but I was furious as hell." Kody said at the beginning of tonight's show, "I haven't spoken to her since then and I don’t know when I will talk to her."

"It feels like he is just trying to get rid me. I don't think this can be fixed. Janelle confessed that he acts as if I have done him wrong. I think he has been playing favorites for quite some time. Robyn is living the life he wants for his family. I suppose he will just write off his other children.

She said that he "didn't want to be a multiple husband anymore" and that she doesn't recognize the man she married. She continued by saying that she was "stuck", when it came to leaving, because she "had nothing" financially.

She lamented, "I can't imagine I'm fifty and I still can't do my own thing. I'm financially tied to them and I can do nothing." "I don't know how I ended up in this situation. What a stupid thing to say! "I know better."

Janelle said that because of her religion, she couldn't just "walk away", because their faith "doesn’t really allow me to say I'm finished." She put all Kody's things in storage and decided to spend Christmas with just the kids of the couple.

Kody described the different holiday celebrations as "very isolating" before confessing in the same confessional how he has been acting "like an irritant" for the last two years. Kody, who had been having some serious wife management problems, reached out to Meri’s brother-in law about his polygamy and divorce.

Kody admitted in their conversation that "women have difficulty with plural marriages" and their feelings were dismissed. He revealed his "special requirements" before Christine and Janelle could be welcomed into the family.

"I courted Meri, and I courted Robyn." He claimed that Christine and Janelle had both asked to be included in the family. "I had some requirements that I wanted them meet to be able to join the family." There will be other women, but you must be committed to me.

It's not right for men to chase after their wives. Janelle acknowledged that it's common for a woman to approach a family, saying, "I feel like I had a spiritual realization that I might belong in your family." She added: "He keeps saying that Robyn and Christine asked to be invited into the family, but I was not." Were we somehow less deserving because Christine and I had asked? We didn't ask to be part of the family. "We simply asked for it, then there was a marriage courtship."

Kody felt Christine and Janelle did not want to be a part of the family any longer. He said that it was "heartbreaking". It was a fantasy and it's now gone. He added, "It's a complete mess right now."

Janelle said later that even though she and Kody had problems, the issues they were experiencing didn't stop her from considering plural marriage with someone else in the future. Meri felt that Kody's problems with plural marriage were not the fault of his wives.

"I don’t think the reason our family has fallen apart is due to polygamy." "I think it's due to personalities," she said. I think he regrets having married Christine. I don't even know where Janelle is, but I believe he regrets his marriage to me.

Kody did not directly reply to Janelle's comment, but he stated that the entire situation between himself and his wife was making him act out.

I want to grow horns now. I want to be a jackass. It's like the urge to be that a-hole my girlfriend said I was. He said that he felt the urge to be "as mean as hell" and added, "you think I'm an idiot, I'll prove you wrong." Kody said that he was also left wanting to "run from my life to just escape, to change my name to disappear, or be someone else." He added, "I hate the life I'm living right now."

Robyn says that Kody's questioning of plural marriage is "a little bit a deal-breaker" because he has been thinking about "escape." She said it would be "absolutely devastating" for her if Kody left, and that she knew he'd regret it if ever he did. She said, "I know that it is from pain." She concluded, "It's not because of selfishness or bad character, but he just feels pain."
