Sophia Bush added, "He had most power so he could come to you and push our boss off of you and get into a fight,"

Hilarie Burton, star of "One Tree Hill", said that Chad Michael Murray, costar on the show, was one of few men who used his power and position to confront Mark Schwahn, creator and showrunner. He had allegedly assaulted her at a bar.

The trio reminisced about filming in Honey Grove, Texas, in 2007 on her Drama Queens podcast. Burton called it a "nightmare period" and said that Schwahn attacked her on the trip.

18 women from the show were openly claiming that he had sexual harassed them in a letter to Variety in 2017. Soon after, several women from his show, "The Royals", made similar claims. Schwahn was fired. Schwahn has not responded to any of these allegations.

Burton claimed that Schwahn and she first flew together to Honey Grove to announce their plans. She then said that he attacked her on the return flight. He then assaulted her again on the way to Honey Grove. He then brags to Danel Ackles, his costar, that they had "made out all the time," which led to a confrontation between Danel and her.

"These were the last three months when my blood was boiling and that was it. I couldn't process it anymore. It's obvious that I'm not there. Burton said, "I was in shell mode."

Bush added, "I wasn't sure if you were going for that part on the show." People assume you were in a very intense moment and that you were assaulted by someone else in an alleyway. It was terrible. Statistics show that most of the things we go through are related to someone we know. This horrible moment you had with your boss was unacceptable. It was within a container full of great memories. That's where it sticks and is where society needs to improve its understanding of how many things are true simultaneously.

Burton was asked why she didn't tell the truth about what had happened, and she replied that she had "told all kinds of people". Bush responded, "And people actually saw it!"

"Chad came up to me and asked, "What are you doing?" "Chad walked up and asked our boss, "What are you doing?" Burton said that he watched our boss grab me in front a lot people and that Chad didn’t have anything to loose because he knew our boss hated us." "Many people had a lot at stake, so it's hard to speak up when you're losing a lot. He was so at ease with [Schwann], that it wasn't something he had any problems with. "I can do what I want to her in public with my boyfriend standing there."

Bush added: "You were accosted at a bar by our boss in front of our friends. They looked at each other because they were afraid to face him."

Sophia said, "Thank God, Hilarie! That you had that moment with Chad," Sophia added. He was protected as No. He was the No.1 on the call sheet. He was the strongest, so he could push our boss away and fight. He did, and I'm glad he did. That's what I want for everyone."

Murray did indeed do something, but Burton felt that she shouldn't have allowed anyone to risk her life. She then spoke to crew members who might have seen misconduct but did not act. "I don’t expect anyone to have done anything because it was a different time at that point."

Bush was understandably frustrated by the whole conversation.

She said, "What I find inexcusable is that it's often us, it's usually the women. Trying to figure out how to protect one another, how not to let someone go into the room alone anymore, and how to ensure we have a side-text thread so that somebody can feel supported." "I am so mad at these men in power who do nothing but stand by and watch."

She said that she understands that crew members can't jeopardize jobs, as they can't jeopardize the families of their family. But she also stated that she is mad at producers for not doing anything. This is because it's not our job to do this all alone. It's always the girls and it's exhausting.
