Everybody has tried different hairstyles in different parts of their lives. Even celebrities. Oprah Winfrey gave her fans a glimpse at her most memorable hairstyles in an Instagram slideshow that featured photos from her past.

Winfrey's Latest Project Is "The Hair Tales"

This video was created to promote The Hair Tales. Winfrey produced the show along with Tracee Ross, Michaela Davies, Culture House Media, and Michaela Davis. Hulu has the first two episodes of The Hair Tales available for streaming.

Her Hair Journey: From Curls to Bobs to Highlights

Winfrey shared her hair journey from baby photos to today, showing her hair. The text in the video said, "Every kink and curl in a Black woman’s crown has its hair tale." "What's yours?"

The video begins with Winfrey as a young woman with bangs and braids. Next, we see photos of her as a pageant queen and student with long curls. Next are pictures of Winfrey as she was during her television career.

Winfrey's hairstyles have varied over the years. She has had long hair, short hair, shoulder-length hair and voluminous curls. She also has blonde highlights and a feathered hairstyle. The former talk-show host has remained steadfast in her choice of hairstyles over the years: natural hair, big curls and sleek shoulder-length hair.

Winfrey's fans loved the video and shared their stories of hair journeys with Winfrey in the comments. One person shared the story: "From Afro puffs, cornrows, jheri curls to the hot comb and straightening with perm relaxer to shaved hair to locs."

Another said, "I wear my grey hair at 52 because that's what my hair looks like now." It is thick and healthy, which I am happy with. "In the end acceptance also results in beauty."
