"You still owe a public apology to me."
Pamela Anderson might have issues with Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” series, but she is not hostile to star Lily James. She even invited Lily James to the premiere of her new documentary to prove it!
Variety has a profile that Anderson claims James hopes to attend the red carpet premiere of her "Pamela: A Love Story" documentary, which will debut on Netflix January 31st.
"It's difficult to play someone when you don’t know all the details. Anderson said, "I told Netflix, 'I would love to invite Lily at the premiere of the film.'" "I have nothing against Lily James. She's beautiful and did her job. The idea of this happening was really devastating to me."

Anderson made it clear that she does not intend to watch the series. It revolved around Tommy Lee's illegal release of her stolen tape. Variety reported that Anderson has seen only billboards featuring James Stan and Sebastian Stan. Sebastian Stan was her ex-husband on the series. She said, "It just seemed like a Halloween costume for me."
She called the show's creators "Assholes", saying that the show had only "salt on her wounds" and told them, "You still owe us a public apology."
She continued, "It was just astonishing." It was probably funny to Tommy. Tommy wrote me a note that said, "Don't let it hurt you like the first time." He had heard from the children that I was struggling to bring up this topic again. I don't believe he was shown kindly. It's not something I know, but I do refuse to watch it."
Per Esquire, Pam's and Tommys sons express their confusion about the limited series in the doc.
"Why would you bring up something from 20 years ago when you don't know what f---ed anyone up?" He exclaims. He exclaims, "The worst part her life and making semi-comedy from it didn't make any sense."
"Pam & Tommy", which was a tribute to James, Stan, and Seth Rogen as acting nominees for the Emmys, and the Golden Globes, were both honored, but returned empty-handed.
Anderson will simultaneously release her memoir, "Love, Pamela", and her Netflix documentary, “Pamela: A Love Story” on January 31.
