An arrest warrant was issued for the victim for continuing sexual abuse of another minor.
250k people have signed a petition to release two brothers from Texas and their friend who are accused of murdering their stepfather in molesting their 9 year-old sister.
Police in McAllen located 42-year old Gabriel Quintanilla on January 20. He had suffered severe blunt trauma to his head.
Alejandro and Christian Trevino ( pictured) were his stepsons and 17-year-old friends, respectively. They are accused of beating him.

Andy Harvey, chief of police at Pharr, told reporters that the brothers had fought after discovering Quintanilla had sex assaulted their biological daughter.
He said, "What they discovered was that their stepdad had inappropriately touched their 9-year old, which is their half sister,"
Quintanilla was under an arrest warrant for sexual assault on a minor from 2014 to 2016 when he was shot and killed. Since then, police had not been able to locate and arrest Quintanilla.
He was hiding from us and being very elusive. Harvey stated that they did not capture him and did not find him.
He said that police did not know about the sexual assault of Quintanilla's nine-year-old daughter. It allegedly occurred the night Quintanilla was shot.
Investigators claim that the brothers confronted their stepdad at the trailer park home and got into a fight. Quintanilla fled the residence during the melee. Alejandro followed, and another fight broke out. Harvey stated that soon after, Juan Eduardo and Christian caught up to them and it became a "three against one" situation.
The Captain stated that they left him "beaten up but still conscious and moving" and drove off in a car. However, the trio changed vehicles to a pickup truck and returned looking for him.
Harvey stated that Christian was again armed with brass knuckles in a third fight. "This time they beat him to the point that he is unconscious or very close to it."
He claimed that Quintanilla was loaded onto the back of the truck by the trio, and he was dumped in a field. Police found Quintanilla unconscious and breathing, but he died on the spot.
The three teenagers are being charged with aggravated attack and engaging in organised criminal activity. Christian and Juan Eduardo were also charged with capital murder as investigators believe that they committed the fatal blows.
Chief Harvey stated that Quintanilla was technically abducted when he was being taken in the truck. The suspects also stole jewelry from Quintanilla before leaving him to die.
All three are being held on a bond of $1million.
A Change.org petition to Texas Governor Greg Abbott requesting that all three be released had over 250k signatures as of Friday morning.
It states that if convicted of capital murder they will be sentenced to a minimum of life imprisonment without parole. We ask the Texas state to release these teens, who could spend the rest their lives in prison protecting their sister.
