Post Malone Calls Drug Rumors 'Super Weird' After Weight Loss, Shares Why He's Keeping Daughter Out of Spotlight

Post Malone, in a new edition of CR Fashion Book, addresses his "concerns" over his drug use and recent weight loss. He also explains why he keeps his baby daughter off the Internet. The issue is accompanied by a stunning photoshoot.

Post Malone protects his privacy.

In an interview for CR's Muses Issue, the singer of "Sunflower", revealed which parts of his private life he doesn't want to share with the public.

Posty, whose fiancee and he welcomed a baby girl last year, has said that he's taken steps to keep his future bride and the child out of the limelight.

Post Malone (real name Austin Post) explained that she does not want to share any photos of her baby because she wants her to have the freedom to decide when and if she is ready.

He also chose to lose over 55 pounds in the past year, with some internet users attributing the rapid weight loss on stage and his free-flowing dancing to alleged drug abuse.

Post stated, "It is a strange thing to have people that I don't know ask me if I am on drugs. But I also know that there are genuine people that care about me and that they're not there just to mock me. They actually give a sh--t," Post added.

The 28-year old musician addressed the rumors on Instagram in April after videos showing him appearing "out of sorts" caused some fans to be concerned.

"I just wanted to let you know that I am not on drugs. I have had many people ask about my weight loss, and I would assume, my performance on stage. I am having so much fun performing and have never felt better. "I guess dad life kicked-in and I decided I would kick soda and start eating healthier so I could be around for as long as possible for this little girl," he said at the time. "Next is smokes and beers, but I consider myself to be a patient man. My brain is in an extremely dope place and I am the happiest that I have been in a very long time."

In a conversation with Fashion Book Post emphasized his state of mental health and happiness, telling the publication, "I've had some really bad times." It feels good to be more confident than before in certain areas.

The self-proclaimed DILF said that his main focus is his music, and his child. He added about fatherhood: "You want get up and do the best for her, at least."

Even though the GRAMMY nominated artist is enjoying a successful career, feelings of judgment and not fitting in are still present, despite his gratitude for having been in the music business for almost ten years.

He said, "I am so grateful to have people listen to and enjoy my music. I'm also glad that my music can be helpful in some way for anyone even if it is just for a moment ...,". "I don’t think there will ever be a time when I feel like, ‘Oh, I deserve that.'" It's not until I become a sunglasses guy. "Once I become a sunglass man, I will be hot."
