The incident was captured on camera in a Planet Fitness studio an hour outside Los Angeles.

According to police, Aman Dhaliwal was a Punjabi actor and Bollywood actor. He was attacked by a man with a hatchet, knife, and just outside Los Angeles.

Dhaliwal sustained multiple stab injuries to his upper body in the assault. He was released from hospital shortly afterward.

Dhaliwal is seen in shocking footage at Planet Fitness restraining an individual who appears to have a hatchet as well as a knife. The 41-year old actor can be seen grasping the hatchet with one hand, while the suspect appears to have a knife in the other. Police say that the suspect attacked Dhaliwal while he was being held down.

Dhaliwal then uses the opportunity to throw the man to his death during one of the suspects' apparent outbursts, as captured in the footage.

Only later, when the suspect is being restrained by others, will you realize that Dhaliwal has been covered in his own blood.

According to Corona police, the incident occurred just after 9am Tuesday. Authorities have identified the suspect as Ronald Chand (30 years old), according ABC7 news.

Dhaliwal is expected to fully recover from his injuries. He lives in Riverside, CA.

Chand is believed to have been admitted to Robert Presley Detention Center with minor injuries. Bail was set at $1million.

Dhaliwal worked on films like "Ik Kudi Punjab Di " and "Ajj De Ranjhe" as well as Bollywood content, such "Jodhaa Akbar", and "Big Brother."
